2022-2023 Year End Summary

After being sidelined by COVID, the Frontier PTO came into the 2022-2023 school year with renewed energy and excitement! Through our six Falcon Family Fun Nights, the Frontier community raised nearly $1,700. The Creepy Coins Fundraiser netted just under $2,600! These fundraisers along with t-shirt sales of $105 raised $4,395!

PTO was able to use this money to provide an in-school Veteran’s Day celebration, a January movie night, March read-a-thon + Barnes & Noble gift cards, two 8th grade scholarships, and to celebrate our remarkable teachers during teacher appreciation week with a treat bar and customized canvas tote bag.

Your generosity also allowed PTO to host a Food Drive for The Village Pantry and the Village Exchange center. 13 large boxes of culturally relevant foods were donated, along with $243 in cash donations. Frontier Falcons never shy away from opportunities to give!

The PTO board will continue to meet regularly over the summer and work with Frontier administration to plan more community building events and opportunities to socialize. We can’t wait to see you! Don’t forget to stay up to date by signing up for our newsletter.

Want to Help?

Nothing can happen without you!

Many people want to help their school and PTO but hesitate because they aren’t sure what PTO needs; or worry that coming to meetings is required.

Community engagement is able to occur when we talk together to find out what folks needs and what folks can do to support those needs.

Below are ideas of ways you can help your PTO and school community:

Multi-lingual? Translate or interpret!

Crafty? Help with event decoration or teacher appreciation!

Have an eye for design? Help create event flyers!

Love to talk to people? Help with outreach and volunteer recruitment!

Have a unique or interesting job? Come talk to a class about it!

Experience in STEAM fields? Teach us something!

Do-gooder? Help plan a service project!

If you have other ideas, please let us know. We would love to help you help our school. Reach out at FrontierPTOPresident@gmail.com

Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up May 8-12! Help the PTO celebrate our fabulous Aurora Frontier teachers and staff by printing one (or more!) of the following worksheets to send your teacher(s) some love! Don’t have a printer? Use the worksheets as a template to create your own personal note of appreciation for the special things your teachers do!
